BUILDING A WARRIOR'S HEART with ANA & JOSE
OVERVIEW
All the Forrest Yoga workshop series provide intelligent sequencing and continuity. Workshops generally run for 2.5 hours and are suitable for intermediate to advanced students, with modifications also provided for beginners.
Each series contains a full- bodied sequence of Pranayama, Asanas, including backbends, standing poses, abdominals, inversions, hand balances, Meditation, Ceremony & Live Music Healing.
Ana and Jose’s workshops are far more than "just yoga" classes. They are Sacred Ceremonies, reconnecting Yogis to Spirit and restoring enthusiasm for Life. Each series contains the Forrest Yoga Magic, Vision Questing on the mat, and is designed to move the Body, still the Mind, express the Emotions, and nurture the Spirit.
ABOUT THE WEEKEND
Ana and Jose's Building a Warrior’s Heart workshop series calls on us to cultivate the traits of the true Warrior: Courage and Compassion.
We need to leave everything we have ever learned at the door and open our mind and heart only to the present moment, inviting the ceremonial music and smudging ritual to cleanse our emotional wounds and stir up our highest spiritual possibilities.The yoga sequences are designed to release old pain and breathe fresh aliveness into our Heart. This series strongly focuses on backbends, inversions & arm balances.
- Thursday, September 4th, 6:00pm - 8:30pm: Luminous Core (includes hand balances)
- Friday, September 5th, 10am - 12:30pm: Inversions and Arm Balances
- Friday, September 5th, 2:30-5:00pm: Romance Your Spirit with Ceremony and Music (Hybrid: 1/2 Yoga, 1/2 Ceremony and Music)
- Saturday, September 6th, 10am -12:30pm: Building a Warrior's Heart (Backbending Class)
Classes will be held at Brick Church, entering at the School, 62 E 92nd Street.
BRING ALL YOUR PROPS! Mat, block, strap, roll, and if you sweat a lot, be prepared for that possibility!

- Enrollment is non-transferable
- Enrollment is non-refundable after July 15th, 2025
