Father Sky and Mother Earth originate from a Navajo (Native American) creation story, symbolizing the eternal union of Heaven and Earth, bound together by the Rainbow Guardian. This Yoga CET is intended to unify the Mind (Father Sky) and the Heart (Mother Earth).
How can we rewire our minds to guard against the cunningness of our own destructive thoughts? How can we foster enthusiasm for our personal evolution? Where in the body are we stuck? Where do we hold our fears? Through the continuity of these daily asana classes, each layered with compelling ceremonies, we can begin to rebuild our sense of hope and design a lifestyle that serves the Spirit.
Freedom comes from recognizing the Oneness in the great web of life, viewing reality from the mountaintop. All things in creation grow, bear fruit, then fall, returning to the dust of Mother Earth and the Oneness of Father Sky.
This course is a Yoga Alliance accredited Continuing Education Training (CET). Upon completion of the training, students will receive a certificate from PURE with Forrest Yoga.
