⚘ About Arrasta Pest:
From the fine mix of the triangle’s chimes, the zabumba’s heartfelt percussion, and the rich melody of the accordion, Forró was born. This rhythm, 100% Brazilian, has spread all over the world, amassing followers wherever it goes.
In Budapest, the mission of spreading this joyful music was passionately carried out by Arrasta Pest. The band, active for nearly three years, constantly reinvented itself to bring audiences the best influences of Forró and its subgenres like xote, baião, carimbó, and arrasta-pé—which inspired the band’s name.
Now, in an unmissable and truly special reunion, Arrasta Pest is coming back for a Forró de Domingo! This one-time event promises to bring all the energy, joy, and nostalgia that fans of the band have been longing for.
