About this Event
In this session we will examine the role of formative assessment in teaching and the functions that it serves, not only as an indicator of learning, but also as a mechanism for understanding pupil experience in school.
We will look at some practical ideas for formative assessment strategies and how these will help the teacher to reflect in-action and adapt if needed. We will also explore the use of dialogic teaching and learning in the classroom as a tool for developing pupils' critical thinking and self-efficacy.
This webinar, hosted by Joanne Robinson is aimed at new or experienced teachers and support staff who are keen to reflect on their current practice and gain inspiration for different pedagogical approaches.
