Forgiveness, Healing and Wholeness (in-person)

Meets Friday, 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m-3 p.m.
Are you on a path of forgiveness or forgiving yourself? Through discussion, meditation and actions, we will cultivate forgiveness, which is the gateway for healing, wholeness and peace. As we mend disconnections, we are able to acknowledge, bless and release what binds us. We will use as our guide “The Book of Forgiving: The Fourfold Path for Healing Ourselves and Our World” by Desmond Tutu and Mpho Tutu (available in our Sophia Bookstore). We suggest you purchase and bring the book with you, but it is not necessary to have read the book beforehand. As Desmond Tutu says, “We invite you to come with us. We walk this path with you because it is a path that will offer healing and transformation. We invite you to take this journey not because it will be easy but because, in the end, the path of forgiving is the only path worth taking.”

ABOUT THE PRESENTERS:
~ Cathie Boerboom is a Good Shepherd Sister, a spiritual director on staff at the FSC and a trained grief recovery specialist.
~ Sarah Hennessey is a Franciscan Sister of Perpetual Adoration, a spiritual director on staff at the Franciscan Spirituality Center and a graduate of the FSC's Spiritual Direction Preparation Program.
