Forging A New America!

A safe place where people from diverse political ideologies can come together to find common grounds on what we want America to become.
About this Event

(Note: We will meet in the Eagle room in building 800.)

The media has portrayed America as divided and polarized into two camps, with each side claiming they are the saviors of America while the other side is trying to destroy our country.

I do not believe this.

The Republicans I know are not racist Nazis, and the Democrats I know are not atheist Communists. These extremeties of both parties do not represent the majority of Americans.

It is my humble hope and prayer that we can come together, leaving any prejudice, hatred, and/or animosity for the "other" side at the door, and develop a list of the basic needs and wants that the majority of Americans desire our country to be and what our government should focus on.

This meeting is not aligned with any political party, nor is it my intent to start one. Rather, I am hoping that we can start to discuss what "we" want as Americans and develop a common platform that we can convey to our politlcal representatives. Top-down politics no longer work, in my opinion. It is from the grass root efforts of people who attend these meetings that can put pressure on our political leaders to set a new and meaningful course for our country.

Let's work together to make America great for everyone.

Let's work together to forge a new America!
