Forget I Said Anything is a bold, sung-through concept musical that dives headfirst into the chaos of modern love, friendship and the emotional wreckage left behind by toxic relationships. A new sung-through musical written and directed by Samantha Roberts, Forget I Said Anything follows an ensemble of characters as they navigate through relationships, both old and new. We explore how people treat each other in the modern age, and the toxic and unhealthy relationships that are produced and reinforce our warped perceptions of reality.Rooted in the uncomfortable truth that our culture often treats connection as transactional, Forget I Said Anything lives in the unknown. Taught to replace rather than repair, to move on rather than lean in, we follow characters that are searching for purpose and a place in this world. Should believe in second chances, in showing up when it’s hard, and in the radical act of staying? The relationships in Forget I Said Anything aren’t tidy or “healthy” by textbook standards—but they’re real.Follow along as we ask "who is worthy of asking for love?"
