Every service member has a story. This workshop gives veterans the opportunity to capture a piece of that story in metal.Join us at Gillette College Area 59 for a hands-on experience where veterans can design and create a custom challenge coin using our advanced xTool F2 Ultra metal engraving system.
Whether your coin represents your branch, a deployment, a personal milestone, or simply your pride in service, this class will guide you through the process of turning your idea into a finished coin you can keep for years to come.
The workshop is designed to be relaxed and welcoming. Veterans will work alongside fellow service members while learning how challenge coins are designed and engraved. No design experience is necessary. Area 59 staff will walk you through each step, from concept to finished piece.
Participants will also have the opportunity to share the story behind their coin. Those stories may become part of a display supporting the Rockpile Museum’s Veteran Scholars Program, preserving the experiences of local veterans for the community.
• When: 2nd Wednesday of each month | 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
• Where: Gillette College Area 59, 3207 S. Douglas Hwy
