About this Event
The workshop will begin with a tour of the farm where our summer flowers will be in full swing. We have over 100 varieties of Dahlias, along with hundreds of other varietals of flowers, foliage and ornamentals. As we explore the fields we will share our secrets for planting, growing and harvesting these edible tubers. Then we will dive into the flower beds and harvest the flowers that tempt you the most for use in our arranging session. After harvesting together, we will gather on our event patio for a demonstration on how to create a lush arrangement using the bounty we have just gathered from the fields. We will have farmcrafted snacks and our homemade strawberry lemonade! Then we will dig in and everyone will make their own unique arrangement to take home with support and guidance from our FBF crew. We will provide all of the tools and materials you will need for harvesting and arranging your flowers into a one of a kind arrangement.
*Open to everyone – this is a fun and supportive atmosphere. Because we will be touring the farm, we will encounter uneven and varied terrain. While we often farm in sandals, we recommend you wear shoes you would feel comfortable getting muddy. Our event patio is accessible and level but is a wood mulched surface. Dress in layers as the temperatures and weather are very unpredictable and it can be sunny and warm just as easily as wet, cold, and windy.
*Workshop purchases are non-refundable. However, if you find you can’t make it, please by all means give your spot to a friend!

*Workshop must have at least 4 people in order to run. If not fulfilled, we will let you know with plenty of lead time and offer either a refund or placement in another workshop of your choice.
