Join Wildsight conservation specialists Eddie Petryshen and Tim Chapman for an evening of community conversations about the future of our forests and watersheds, and how a community can help change their trajectories. With Dr. Garry Merkel (Professional Forester and Director of UBC's Centre of Indigenous Land Stewardship) and Dr. Younes Alila (UBC Professor of Hydrology) on hand to answer questions, we'll learn about how industrial forestry is changing the hydrology of our watersheds, how this relates to Kimberley, and ways we can responsibly steward this landscape into the future.
Panel discussion from 7–8.30pm, followed by social time and the opportunity for informal conversations from 8.30-9pm.
