Forest Walks

Flash & Soul and friends are guiding the nine walks and root practices from Unlearning Colonial Habits of Being: Forest Walk Invitations.

The nine walks run throughout the summer. This listing is for three Sundays in July with Carlie and Sarah. Please see our other Eventbrite listings for dates in June and August. Session consists of a welcome, meditative walk, reflection, and activities. Also shared is an article excerpt that invites walkers into a deeper understanding of the violence that coloniality inflicts on land, Indigenous Peoples, and our collective existence.

Prior to the walk, participants will be sent optional preparatory instructions, the exact meeting location, and a short list of what to bring.

Walks are intended for people of all ages and all abilities.
