The ‘Forests Trails & Mahua Tales’ is an immersion and appreciation of Jharkhand’s indigenous cultures. Through this journey, we will explore the rural foods, enjoy the forest flavours and learn about the living natural heritage around us. We will experience one of the oldest human art forms at the Isco caves in Hazaribagh and witness the prehistoric art that has travelled in the form of stories, festivals and rituals. We will also experience the natural landscapes, mahua blooming and learn to make laddoos with the communities. The unique journey is designed for a small group of cultural enthusiasts who will have the opportunity to explore the natural systems, cultural spaces, communities and culinary heritage of Jharkhand.Curated by Jyoti Shukla
