Forage to Flame to Fork!Come and expand your foraging knowledge, upskill your fire management and enjoy an outdoor fire cooking experience with FSLI in the beautiful grounds of Chartham Primary School
The morning of the conference consists of:
Foraging and Harvesting - with Ken Greenway (Come Dine with me Winner - using his foraging knowledge!)
Fire Management - revisit and practice your fire management skills by trying out a range of cooking methods
Prepare a range of food to cook a variety of recipes appropriate to the children you are working with.
Cook some delicious meals to enjoy together.
In the afternoon...
A choice of:
Update on common knots, lashings, hammock and slackline use, building self-supporting structures and shelters
Practice your tool use to make a range of greenwood creations applicable to children
Further information and practice on Fire lighting, management and safety
Flora and fauna identification and activities update
When: 23rd October 2024
Timings: 10am - 3pm
Cost: £100 (plus VAT)
