SENCos, parents and carers are invited to our drop in open day to find out about our Forest School and Farm School Alternative ProvisionOur open day is an opportunity to meet our team, visit our woodland site at Heaton Park, and discover how our alternative provision may support the needs of your child or the young people you work with.
Our nature-based approach is designed for children and young people who are facing barriers to learning in traditional school settings.
We support children with a wide range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, anxiety,EBSNA and past trauma. Through a child-led, therapeutic play approach, we create a safe and trusting environment where learners can:
-Explore their passions and interests
-Build confidence, resilience, and self-esteem
-Develop coping strategies and self-regulation techniques
-Feel free to be themselves
Our sessions run all year round, giving children the chance to experience the full cycle of the seasons.
Drop by any time between 10am - 1pm
