This fun packed Forest School activity day will bring some adventure to your child's holidays learning how to light fires, making dens, playing hide and seek, and exploring nature. The Forest School approach gives each child the opportunity to take part in activities by exploring their environment, learning new skills, developing physical, social and emotional development while learning about their environment and the world around them.We will be provide a selection of activities which may include learning how to safely light and extinguish a fire, making dens and shelters, bug hunting, exploring the environment and using natural resources for activities.
Although this activity day is 8yrs plus we may be able to accommodate younger siblings. Please get in touch for more details.
Activities are all run and facilitated by qualified Leaders. At Play Wild we plan our activities to teach life skills as well as supporting social skills and emotional health and well-being for the children and young people who attend.
Refreshments, lunch and all resources will be provided but please feel free to send your child with their own food if needed.
