Twice a month, our Forest Defenders team gathers to clear out these invaders and restore the health of our woodlands. You’ll learn how to identify invasive species and work side-by-side with our expert Land Manager using safe and effective removal techniques. It’s a hands-on, high-impact way to make a real difference in local conservation—and it’s more fun than you think!Forest Defenders welcomes adults, teens, and families—children 15 and under must be accompanied by a guardian. All hours count toward school or community service requirements. Activities take place entirely outdoors, so please dress for the weather and terrain. In case of inclement weather, sessions will be rescheduled.
