About this Event
Step away from the rush of daily life and reconnect with the natural world. Join Forest Lens for a guided Forest Bathing Walk, designed to help you slow down, awaken your senses, and experience the arrival of spring in a deeply restorative way.
Unlike a typical hike, Forest Bathing is not about reaching a destination or getting a workout. Instead, it is a slow, mindful wander through the trees. Through a series of guided, sensory-based invitations, you will be encouraged to notice the subtle details of the forest including, the sounds of the waking woods, and the fresh scents of spring, allowing you to shift from a state of doing to a state of simply being.
What to Expect
- A Slow Pace: We will cover a very short distance, allowing plenty of time to pause, observe, and connect with the environment.
- Guided Invitations: You will be offered gentle prompts to help you engage with nature using all of your senses.
- Mindful Observation: A chance to look at the forest through a new "lens," noticing the quiet beauty that often goes unseen.
- A Closing Tea Ceremony: We will conclude our time together with a shared cup of forest tea and an opportunity to reflect on the experience.
