Seek stillness with Leila Halid and Wild South London Community on this forest bathe and nature connection walk in Croydon
About this Event

As the autumn days grow shorter and the air turns crisp, the forest prepares for rest, shedding its last leaves. In this season of transition, join us for a forest bathing and nature connection walk, where we seek not just the stillness of the trees, but the stillness within ourselves. Among the rustling leaves and fading colours, we will attune our bodies to nature’s slower rhythm, allowing its grounding presence to help regulate our nervous systems and create space to reconnect with our senses.

During the walk, expect to move slowly and mindfully through the woodland, pausing to fully experience your surroundings with all your senses. You will be guided to notice the subtleties of the season and invited to share aspects of your experience as we journey through our time together.

This is an invitation to pause and feel the earth beneath our feet. Together, we will walk gently, finding our way back to ourselves and to the earth, letting the forest remind us of our capacity for healing, resilience, and transformation.

Please note we will require all participants to fill out a health questionnaire and participant agreement before the event. This will be emailed to you in advance, but we will have printed copies available on the day too.

About Leila Halid

Leila, a trained Medical Herbalist with the College of Naturopathic Medicine, has devoted her career to unlocking the therapeutic benefits of connection to nature. Upon the end of her studies in 2018, she founded the Adae Well-being clinic, fuelled by a dedication to integrate holistic healing practices into community health.

Her curiosity about our connection to the natural world led her to explore Forest and Nature Therapy. Leila obtained certification as a Forest Therapy Guide from the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy in 2021, reinforcing her commitment to fostering connection to ourselves, nature and each other.

Leila's primary mission is to assist individuals in cultivating presence through meaningful relationships with the more-than-human-world. Blending plant spirit medicine and sensory experiences, she empowers people to tap into the inherent wisdom of nature. Through her work, Leila strives to equip individuals with practical skills and tools for self-sustainability to nurture a profound bond to the web of life and partnership with the land.
