Guided Forest Bathing Walk & Lunch WorkshopMindfulness in Nature activities followed by Nourishing Lunch
This promises to be a special morning of relaxing and restoring oneself through the power of nature, and then nourishing one’s body with a chef-crafted, healthy lunch.
Guided forest bathing walks, derived from the Japanese practice of Shinrin Yoku, are a profound way to reconnect with nature while promoting mental and physical well-being. This walk, led by a professional guide, will take participants on a journey through the forest to deeply engage with the environment using all five senses. It’s not merely a hike or a casual stroll through the woods; it’s an immersive experience that encourages mindfulness and a deep connection with nature and also oneself.
During a guided forest bathing walk, participants are encouraged to slow down and notice the fascinating details of the world around them. The sensory engagement is designed to bridge the gap between humans and the natural world, fostering a sense of relaxation, wonder, and appreciation for the intricate beauty of the environment.
Benefits:
The benefits of these walks are backed by science, with research indicating that forest bathing can reduce stress, improve mood, boost the immune system, and increase energy levels. For those looking to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with nature, a guided forest bathing walk offers a tranquil escape that nourishes the soul and revitalizes the body. Whether one is a seasoned nature lover or someone seeking a new way to find peace and balance, these walks provide an accessible and deeply rewarding way to engage with the natural world, and benefits can last up to three weeks afterwards.
