What to Bring: Please ensure you dress appropriately for the weather (jacket, good shoes etc.)
About our Guide: Jade Hooper
Jade is a forest bathing guide with Wild Pines Forest Bathing. After years of burnout and mental health challenges, she discovered the healing power of nature and trained to become a guide in 2022. She has also completed courses in ecopsychology and nature-based practice, and she volunteers in her local community helping to run nature connection and educational events. Jade loves nothing more than being out in nature and feeling the connection with the natural world around her.
About Forest Bathing
Forest bathing involves immersing oneself in nature and ‘bathing’ in the atmosphere of the woodland to promote health and wellbeing and enhance nature connection. These guided sessions offer a series of invitations designed to help you slow down, engage your senses, and connect with the sights, sounds, scents and textures of the forest.
Research has shown that spending time in nature, particularly amongst trees, can have numerous health benefits, including reduced stress levels, improved mood, increased creativity, and enhanced immune function. Through these guided invitations, the aim is to experience the restorative power of nature, emerge feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and connected to the natural world around you. Join us for a nature connection experience that nourishes the mind, body, and soul.
Watch: Here's forest bathing guide Cath expaining what forest bathing is, it gives a good indication of what to expect from a session!
