About this Event
Breathe. Restore. Reconnect.
Join us on October 19th for a 3-hour retreat in Portland’s breathtaking Forest Park. This unique experience invites you to step away from daily distractions and immerse yourself in the science-backed art of forest bathing and meditation—practices that support relaxation, presence, and a deeper sense of connection to yourself, nature, and a community of like-minded people.
We will gather at Lei Brilla Coffee Shop, where Kristi Owens will guide a centering practice blending gentle meditation, reflective journaling, and mindful movement. This opening session is crafted to help you arrive fully in the present and reconnect with yourself in a meaningful way—creating space for deeper awareness and authentic connection with the community around you.
The retreat deepens as we enter the tranquility of Forest Park, where Dr. Renata Anderson will guide a Forest Bathing experience rooted in the Japanese tradition of shinrin-yoku. Together, we will slow down, awaken our senses, and immerse ourselves in the restorative atmosphere of the forest. This is not a hike, but a mindful journey of presence—connecting with nature through breath, observation, and stillness. Renata will offer gentle invitations that foster relaxation and reflection, while Kristi weaves in mindful movement to complement and deepen the forest experience.
This retreat is an invitation to pause, restore, and reconnect—within yourself, with the natural world, and with a supportive community of like-minded people. Join us for a nourishing experience that fosters balance, clarity, and a renewed sense of presence in the heart of Forest Park.
