Our times and our bodies are inflamed.
Hyperinflammation
The theatre is like the inflammation that leads us to the wound. A labyrinthine path through bodies and souls.
The wound is a portal.
The theatre is a technology that must lead us through this portal.
The body on stage is the prima materia. The starting point of every process. It is the vessel in which the mystery of transformation takes its course.
Theater must be used as a mind-expanding technology.

Susanne Kennedy is a theatre director whose singular aesthetic and approach introduce a fresh current to male-centric perspectives that ground Western theatre. In her works, distorted by masks, playback dialogue, doppelgänger and multimedia, the actors confront the audience with the question: what does it mean to be human?
Kennedy lives and works in Berlin. Since 2015 she works with the visual artist Markus Selg. Together they create theater installations, opera happenings and exhibitions.
