Standard Showdown is a weekly program that WPN retailers run to bring their Standard Constructed community together for a few hours of fun, with a few added prizes to spice things up. The winner each week takes home a copy of the next Marvel Spider-man collaboration promo.
The current sets legal in MTG Standard as of August 2025 are: Marvel's Spider-man, Edge of Eternities, Final Fantasy, Tarkir: Dragonstorm, Aetherdrift, Duskmourn: House of Horror, Bloomburrow, Outlaws of Thunder Junction, Murders at Karlov Manor, The Lost Caverns of Ixalan, Wilds of Eldraine, and Magic: The Gathering Foundations. These sets were released between September 2023 and September 2025.
