Details
✣ Start & end point: There are picnic benches at the , - on google maps it is listed as ' please make sure you come to this postcode and car park. The picnic benches are our meeting and ending point, keep an eye out for a woman with a foraging basket! I will be there 15mins early and will start gathering people at this point to make sure we are ready to leave promptly at 10:30am. Please arrive well in time for the start of the workshop, allowing extra time for traffic etc.

✣ It will last 2 hours, including a short intro before we head off describing any foraging facts to be aware of etc, as well as about 20mins at the end where we can try some of the herbs collected or a pre-prepared hot beverage. I do not currently offer lunch so do bring your own if you like. I will also be able to answer questions at the end and you can sign up to recieve resources regarding the plants we foraged on the day.
✣ The walk is fairly slow paced and gentle but paths can be a bit uneven and involve steps at times so do consider your own fitness levels and stay hydrated. Be careful and wear appropriate clothing and shoes for approx 1hr 30mins walking, with breaks along the way to learn about selected plants. I am first aid trained and will have a kit with me. Do let me know if you have any illnesses/allergies/conditions I need to be aware of.
✣ My groups are usually a max of 12 people. Minimum 5 people for event to go ahead.
✣ Unfortunately I am not insured enough for the council to currently do these walks specifically for children so the walks are aimed at adults. If you do bring children along, please make sure they are always accompanied and that you can take full responsibility for their safety.
✣ We will be standing and gathering as a group for up to approx. 10minutes per plant so if you bring along a dog, please keep this in mind, as well as their general temperament.
✣ There will be a chance to taste some of the plants if you wish to, and I will bring along a flask so that you can also taste them in the form of a hot drink too.
See you there! πŸƒπŸ§Ίβœ¨
