Join us for some Oscar skewering! In FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION, little is going right in the production of the quite-low-budget indie film Home for Purim—the director seems to be crazy, the screenwriters hate him, and the producer is a spoiled brat who knows nothing of filmmaking. But when the three leads hear rumors that they might be nominated for Oscars, their obsessions lead them down a path of downright absurdity. Christopher Guest has a blast sending up Oscar season, and Catherine is simply amazing as the over-the-hill actress who has a complete meltdown.
