For The Seeds In The Soil is a generative poetry night centered on what’s already been planted — ideas, images, fragments, themes, questions, and half-formed lines that are quietly taking root. This evening offers a gentle, supportive space to explore in-progress work or uncover what’s been waiting beneath the surface.Rather than focusing on performance or polish, this gathering prioritizes process over product. Through guided prompts and dedicated writing time, participants are invited to tend to their creative soil, nourish emerging work, and write without pressure or expectation.
You’re welcome to bring:
- A piece you’ve been circling but haven’t finished
- A theme or question that keeps returning
- A blank page and curiosity
Sharing is optional. Presence is enough.
Whether you’re a seasoned poet or someone easing back into writing, this night is about trust, experimentation, and making space for what wants to grow next.
Tickets are $10 (before fees) and help cover:
- Space rental
- Snacks & non-alcoholic beverages
- Writing materials & activity supplies
- Alcohol is BYO.
