For the Love of Cats is a heartfelt collection of paintings by Bess Parker that celebrates the magic and meaning of our feline friends.
Each piece captures the many ways cats touch our lives—the comfort they bring, the laughter they inspire, and the quiet love shared through their purrs and soulful eyes.
Presented in collaboration with Something Pawsitive Cat Café and Something Sweet Café, both dedicated to cat rescue and adoption, this show honors the deep bond between humans and cats.
Why do people adopt cats? Because they bring love, joy, and light into our homes. And in return, they receive the care and belonging they deserve.
This series invites us to see cats not just as companions, but as healers, muses, and reminders of unconditional love.
The paintings are available for purchase and make a great gift for someone special.
A portion of the proceeds of art sales goes towards the Something Pawsitive cat rescue efforts.
ABOUT THE ARTIST: Bess Parker is inspired by the spirit of wildlife and the beauty of nature. Her paintings capture the life and emotion behind the eyes of the animals she portrays.
ABOUT SOMETHING PAWSITIVE: Tracy Mothershed, owner of Something Sweet and Something Pawsitive, partners with Ozzie's Legacy to foster cats. Ozzie's Legacy is a 501c3 non-profit rescue. Together, they help cats find safe homes and loving families. All cats are spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas before arriving at Something Pawsitive. Tracy is passionate about animals especially cats. Her cat café welcomes visitors to spend time with the cats and helps them find their furrever companion.
