We have traveled to Albany every year since.

In 2009, we partnered with our newly created statewide group, Friends of Recovery New York (FOR-NY) to coordinate a statewide advocacy event. We created Stand Up For Recovery Day (SURD)

We provide transportation at no cost to you!
Once you register with us you will automatically be registered for the event at Empire State Plaza in Albany and your legislative appointment will be made for you.
Once we arrive in Albany, we will attend FOR-NY's statewide advocacy event followed by meetings with your elected officials! The legislative appointments will be made in advance. Updates and more detailed information will be sent via email and a Zoom meeting will be held as we get closer.
We will have departures from both Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
