This summer at Ford House, storytime comes with a side of art and a snack to match.Every week, we’re reading a food-themed picture book and making art inspired by the story. A new book, a new project, a new reason to get a little messy. Children ages 4 and up are welcome.
This week’s pick is “Nothing Special,” by Desiree Cooper. A story about summer, family, and the food that holds it all together. After the story, children will create their own artwork inspired by the flavors found in the book.
Snacks are included, because of course they are.
This program is designed for children ages 4 and up. If your child is 3 or younger, our free Storytime on Tuesday mornings is a wonderful fit.
