The Food Smarts Teen workshops will focus on teaching teens the skills they need to take care of themselves now and into their future. They will set goals, explore kitchen skills and safety, learn about whole foods, dive into food marketing and experience simple recipe preparations that they can make for themselves. The workshop will set the stage for healthy habits as teens prepare for adulthood and life on their own that they can take with them. This 4-part series will run June-September on the third Tuesday of each month in the Redding Library Community Room.
This program is brought to you by the Shasta Seed Library in partnership with CalFresh Healthy Living-Shasta.
