Once you're done with this class you will have some of the fundamental skills to extend the life of some of your fruits, and veggies all year long. This class will take place at the Swiss Valley Nature Center, and we will be making triple-berry jam.Friends of Dubuque County Conservation member Julie Kirschbaum will be leading the class. Julie has a Culinary Degree and decades of training crafting foods! With assistance from Iowa State University, Julie will be providing you with lots of resources and information about food preservation.
A $15 suggested donation will help cover material costs. Any proceeds benefit the Friends of the Dubuque County Conservation Inc. for future programming. There are limited spots for this class due to space and materials, a ticket is required to attend this class.
