Wednesday, March 4 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm is part one of the Food Preservation 101 Workshop that is an introduction to equipment. Participants will start the series by getting to know all the food preservation equipment (canner, dehydrator, steam canner, pressure canner, steam juicer, fermentation, and what jars to use) and the science behind food preservation.
Wednesday, March 25 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm is the second part of the Food Preservation 101 workshop that is hands-on with participants using the equipment they learned about in the first workshop.
Attendees will have samples to taste during the workshops along with information and recipes to take home.
The cost of each workshop is $10 per person or $15 when signing up for both.
