Join the Russell Library on Thursday, October 10th, from 5:30pm-7:00pm, for the fifth annual Food, Power and Politics Lecture with Dr. Daniel N. Warshawsky from Wright State University. He will deliver a talk on food banks, their origin, and what factors go into the pressing, and increasing, global need for them. Leah Carmichael will moderate.
This year's lecture is in partnership with UGA Campus Kitchen and their "Turkey Palooza" Thanksgiving Food Drive. We encourage attendees to bring in donation items for the food drive.
Guest parking is available in the Hull Street deck, directly across the street from the libraries.
