Welcome to UDC-CAUSES Food Justice Youth Camp!
Join us for a fun-filled and educational experience at our summer youth camp designed by the University of the District of Columbia, College of Agriculture, Urban Sustainability & Environmental Sciences.
The annual Food Justice Youth Camp aims to educate and inspire young people to take action towards a more equitable food system. Students will engage with industry experts and activists and learn how they can make an impactful contribution.
Youths will participate in workshops, activities, and discussions of food justice and sustainability. They will also meet industry professionals and like-minded peers passionate about creating a more equitable food system.
Whether you're a seasoned activist or just starting to learn about food justice, our camp is the perfect place for you. Join us and participate in a movement towards a more just and sustainable food future!
The camp will be held at UDC Van Ness Campus' Commercial Teaching Kitchen. During camp, students will participate throughout the campus for various strategic assignments.
Lunch and water will be provided daily for attendees.
