Food Justice and Plant-based Potluck

Join us for our February plant-based potluck and an introduction to Food & Justice with Sherra Aguirre and Dola Young.

Sherra and Dola are leading the initiative A Healthier Nickel in the Fifth Ward towards food justice. They will give a brief overview on their ongoing work that is the successor to initiatives in the Third Ward. They are both very passionate about this subject. Sherra Aguirre wrote the book "joyful, delicious, vegan: life without heart disease".
