Picture yourself enjoying 3 hours on a late spring Sunday afternoon of meaningful female connection & inspiration over a delicious boutique long table luncheon in the beautiful surrounds of First Nations Women's Yarning Garden (Barkly Square), whilst supporting the work of Food Is Free Inc.
Curated by our incredible team from Food Is Free Inc. Fundraising Committee, you will be nourished by the delectable catering from Sara Kittelty of Kittelys fame, (ably assisted by Brigid Corcoran of Saltbush Kitchen fame),
Delight in a delicious and flavoursome First Nations bushtucker themed multicourse meal, including complimentary mocktails, made with love. See details below!
Be inspired by compelling speakers discussing female strength, overcoming adversity, standing by our Sisters/Tiddas & more, imparted in brave heartfelt short talks from three local women.
Enjoy sitting back whilst soaking up the special energy in the truly grounding/beautiful First Nations Women's Yarning Garden.
There's going to be a lot of magic on the day apart from the fine food and talks, including a silent auction & more!

Note: this unique function will be held in inner courtyard of Barkly Square - First Nations Women's Yarning Garden, if weather permits. If not - indoors overlooking the garden, in communal Atrium area at Barkly Square.

KATRINA BARAQUIEL
Katrina Baraquiel (she/they) is a gender equity, accessibility, diversity, and intercultural affairs advocate. Her niche interests include the drivers of migration. Before moving to Australia, she previously lived and studied in the Philippines, Spain, and Germany. She shares evidence-based research and living expertise to help break down barriers to access for women from diverse backgrounds.

LEE MARTIN
Lee Martin is the Director and CEO of Lee Martin Coaching.
As an Empowerment Coach Lee ensures all those surrounding her and beyond, find their way to being empowered and giving to their communities in ways that fill their own cup.
A mother to 3 children, wife, friend and guide for those in her circle, Lee enjoys chasing the sunrise, morning walks with her dog for mental clarity, trying new things and finding the good.
As an Ambassador for Ballarat Foundation’s Women’s Fund, Mentor for Raven Collective’s Domestic Violence Survivor Trainees, Board Member for Commerce Ballarat and volunteer sports coach, Lee empowers women in the community on a voluntary basis as well as guiding many others in her coaching business.
Lee is committed to empowering others to change the story, recapture their self-worth and become confident, happy and content individuals.
As a passionate advocate for the improvement of domestic and family violence in Australian society, Lee is researching ways to make a difference in this space on a community level, which will lead to a national societal level as the end goal.
Lee hopes to reach and empower as many as possible to change the stories of the individual, their families, friends and community.

BRIGID MOLONEY
Brigid is founder of the Ballarat Women’s Clinic, a specialist, GP and allied health centre dedicated to providing expert care to women at every stage of life. She is podcast host of The Kick Pregnancy Podcast, now hosted on the Mamamia network and with more than 1.4 million downloads. She has four sons, has cooked about 31,200 meals and counting, been to more playgrounds than she thought necessary and once climbed a tree in heels and a suit to retrieve a football.
