About this Event
Food Forest Planting (McMaster Campus)12-2pm
At this event, we will be planting important trees and shrubs at McMaster's Lower Campus. These trees will be planted in the proposed Food Forest for the future Indigenous Teaching Garden. Thank you for joining Nature at McMaster in our restoration efforts! Please note that the walk to the Food Forest is through a wooded area, so it is important to wear long pants and long socks as there are sharp raspberry bushes and poison ivy.
We provide all the tools- shovels, extractigators, loppers and gardening gloves (although you are welcome to bring your own).
We will be meeting at Parking Lot P at 12pm, and will be planting trees from 12pm-2:00pm.
