Food for Thought: Upcoming Book StudyStarting Saturday, January 24, join Sara Streeter and Carla Mettling for a five‑week journey into the world of food, culture, and conscious choices. Our winter book study, Food for Thought, will explore two thought‑provoking works:
▪️Mark Bittman’s Animal, Vegetable, Junk — tracing how humanity’s food practices have evolved from hunter‑gatherers to modern junk‑food consumers, and how these shifts have shaped societies.
▪️Sophie Egan’s How to Be a Conscious Eater — a practical guide to making food choices that care for the planet, farmers, animals, and ourselves.

Participants are encouraged to get the books and begin reading ahead of time.
