Morning of Mindfulness in Missoula
The Head & the Heart of Practice
Please join us for a Morning of Mindfulness hosted by Empty Mountain Practice Center on Sunday February 8 from 10:10 AM to 12:00 PM, held at the Open Way Mindfulness Center in Missoula.
All are welcome. Free to attend, donations greatly appreciated.
Our program will include:
Guided sitting meditation
A practice talk by OI member Nicole Dunn, The Head & the Heart of Practice
Walking meditation
Silent sitting meditation

Nicole Dunn is the founder & program director of the Be Here Now sangha, a mindfulness & meditation group that has been meeting every Monday night in Missoula since 2002. She was ordained into the Order of Interbeing (OI) by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh in 2007 and given the Dharma name True Wonderful Flower. She and her husband Mike started a rustic, small-sprouting mindfulness practice center called Empty Mountain in 2002 (situated app. 60-miles west of Missoula) where they offer events & retreats, and also live full time off-grid & without running water. Nicole has been leading and helping to facilitate mindfulness groups, classes, events & retreats for over 20 years. She is a poet, writer, spoken word artist, dancer, musician & book lover (the old school paper kind), whose core values center around connection & keeping strong the spiritual dimension of life, or as she often likes to call it: the poetry of living.
