About this Event
Join us for an engaging evening to explore the intersections of food, culture, and climate with environmental educator Isaias Hernandez, founder of QueerBrownVegan.
Isaias will delve into key food justice topics including community land stewardship and local food systems. He will reflect on how land functions as a living archive of ecology and culture, shaping the ways we understand and interact with the environments around us.
Drawing from inspiring stories across Los Angeles, he will highlight how communities are reconnecting with the land through practices like community gardening and composting.
Come gather with community members, experience one of our thriving community gardens, learn about food justice, hear about local community-led sustainability efforts, and share your thoughts and ideas!
We can't wait to see you there!
