The Black/African American and other communities of color have long been disproportionately affected by diabetes and hypertension. Furthermore, there is a lack of education on what options are available to promote these changes. Please join LIWH and our subject matter experts as we attempt to interrupt generational Diabetes and hypertension. Theses series of workshops will be taught with a cultural lense for and by people who look like you.Learn more about Diabetes, how and why you are at risk, but most importantly, what you can do to stop or prevent Diabetes from happening to you.
