The rise in cases of HPAI, highly pathogenic avian influenza, is a major concern for North Carolina's livestock and poultry sectors. The discovery of an HPAI strain in dairy herds across the US elevated the need for better biosecurity and greater understanding of how this virus moves and mutates. Join us for the HPAI Industry Forum to hear updates on HPAI status in North Carolina and across the US, participate in discussions about biosecurity and response to the outbreak, and help inform NC State's Food Animal Initiative's response to needed education and potential policy implementation.
