Spring should be in full bloom, making this one of the most beautiful hikes of our season. Expect lush greenery, emerging wildflowers, and plenty of opportunities for quiet observation and connection with nature—and each other.
We aim to keep all hikes around two hours or less, making this outing accessible for a wide range of comfort levels.
⚠️ Nature Notes
With spring growth comes a few things to be mindful of:
• Ticks are active — consider wearing long pants or using bug repellent.
• Poison ivy is plentiful in some areas — “leaves of three, let it be” is your friend.
• Trails may be muddy depending on recent rain. Come dress prepared

If the weather is gorgeous—and we’re hoping it will be—we’ll head to Big Grove Brewery in downtown Omaha for lunch and continued conversation.
