Programma / Program
Il workshop propone lo studio delle mudanzas di Folías descritte da Jaque (ca.1680), danzate sulla versione musicale più antica di questa danza a oggi conosciuta: il canto Rodrigo Martinez tratto dal Cancionero de Palacio (1490). Si lavorerà anche sulla composizione e l’improvvisazione di mudanzas di Folías elaborate dai corsisti.
Saranno affrontate inoltre le mudanzas di Hermosa, una danza in tempo ternario, descritta nel libro di Minguet (1740), caratterizzate da combinazioni di passi molto varie e ricche.
The workshop proposes the study of the mudanzas of Folías described by Jaque (ca.1680), danced to the oldest musical version of this dance known to date: the Rodrigo Martinez song from the Cancionero de Palacio (1490). We will also work on the composition and improvisation of mudanzas of Folías elaborated by the students. The mudanzas of Hermosa will also be addressed, a dance in ternary time, described in the book of Minguet (1740), characterized by very varied and rich combinations of steps.
