Folklore Writing Group at Dusk
```Folklore is spiritually in our nature. We welcome you to gather for an evening of guided storytelling and gentle writing prompts, inspired by folklore.
This month's session we'll be discussing and writing about a water spirit...
What to expect?
- Read of the today's chosen folklore
- Writing prompts with the themes of the folklore, encouraging you to write a poem or a tale of your own lore
- A chance for you to share your ideas and chat
- Free writing to tie up any loose ends
This group is all about keeping the tradition alive by incorporating some of our own Lore into our writing practices whilst encouraging oral storytelling. Although, there is no pressure to write or share - this is a space to let creative flow happen naturally. If you’d rather doodle, read (there will be books for inspiration), or simply sit with a cuppa and chat, you are just as welcome.
