Folk That Dance is a community group for female and non-binary LGBTQIA+ people in Norfolk, to support connection and well-being through traditional East Anglian folk dances. It’s more than just a dance group; it’s a place to belong, share stories, and celebrate self-expression.We'll spend some time moving, and connecting with our body's, and this Spring we are inviting local artists to facilitate one-off workshops to provoke and inspire new creative ideas.
March 6th
Join artist Holly Sandiford for a hands-on Cameraless Phytography Workshop, where you'll create photographs using the natural chemicals found in plants. In celebration of Spring, we’ll gather wild plants and weeds from the site—capturing the season’s renewal through this unique, plant-based photographic process. Holly will guide you in using local flora to develop images that honor nature’s transitions and cycles.
This workshop is an opportunity to slow down, connect with the land, and experiment with the magic of phytography (drawing with light). No prior experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to explore!
