The Focus Photography Workshops are hands-on learning experiences designed for beginners and aspiring photographers who want to better understand their cameras and improve their photography skills. Led by experienced photographers from WrightDesign75, participants will learn the fundamentals of photography through guided instruction and practical exercises.

This interactive workshop focuses on building confidence with your camera while exploring creative techniques used by professional photographers. Participants will gain valuable knowledge about how to capture stronger images in a variety of real-world settings.

• Camera basics and understanding your settings
• Exposure: aperture, shutter speed, and ISO
• Composition and framing techniques
• Lighting fundamentals for better photos
• Hands-on photography practice

This workshop is ideal for:

• Beginners learning photography for the first time
• Hobby photographers wanting to improve their skills
• Creatives interested in visual storytelling
• Anyone who wants to take better photos with their camera

Participants are encouraged to bring their own camera and photography equipment if they have it. Camera equipment will also be available for participants who do not have their own.

The workshop will take place at the NC Music Hall of Fame in Kannapolis, North Carolina.

WrightDesign75 is a community-based arts organization dedicated to providing photography education, creative opportunities, and hands-on training for aspiring photographers in the region.
