Speaker Bio: Dr. Miguel Alvarez MD, Pediatrician happily married for 25 years, father of 2 daughters, one son, 3 grandchildren and 1 granddog. Born in Cuba. Has lived in Ohio, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, New Jersey and Florida. I have lived in Florida for 34 years. Graduated from University of Puerto Rico, majored in Biology minored in Physics. Attended UCMM in the Dominican Republic, graduated Cum Laude. Chief of Pediatrics at Sarasota Memorial Hospital for 2 years. Received Certificate of Recognition from Marion County for providing free Pediatric Services in Salt Springs for 3 years. Avid fisherman, gardener, aquascaper and fish breeder. I enjoy my 21 tanks with the interest in NANF pigmy sunfish and aquatic plants.
