In these two workshops we will be working on some classic Lindy Hop air steps. You will need to register with a partner(s) and we will not be rotating in class, we will also not be match making in class.
If you would like you're welcome to come in a group of 3 or more. If you have two friends who want to fly and one base, that's awesome! If you have a little team of 4 who all like to fly and base, super cool! We don't mind what constellation you have as long as you have one flyer and one base as a minimum.
Seriously guys, it's so awkward for everyone if you come without at least one partner. Please do no make it awkward. I will not like you.
Schedule:
Intermediate - Studio 2 - 11am-1pm
You will not go upside down in this class. Suitable for newbies and also for experienced folks who want to train their fundamentals.
Example tricks:
1. Throwout with optional variations for the adventurous
2. Back-Drop with optional basketball catch
3. Scorpion Kick
4. Straddle Throw
5. Proto-Lotus
Advanced - Studio 1 - 3pm-5pm
We will demonstrate a few different air steps and take a vote during class to see what people want to/feel comfortable learning. Flyers will go upside down in this class.

1. Down the Back
2. Crunch Toss
3. Judo Flip
4. Left Hook aka Knickerbocker
5. Around the Back aka Lindy Flip
6. Walk Around the Clock
Physical pre-requisites
Everyone: Plank for 30 seconds, 30 squats
Fliers: 10 tuck jumps, 10 V-sits and hold for 10seconds, and comfortable with being upside down
Bases: 10 push ups, 30s second wide leg squat hold
