What we’ll doTogether, we will create a beautiful fluid movement wall hanging. Using the provided tools and equipment you’ll craft your bespoke canvas with specialist mediums, professional pigments, powders and precious metals with ease and a smile on your face.
We start off by putting on your work apron and reviewing the project, reviewing the materials and handling instructions, followed by an introduction to the tools and equipment, before diving into your class of choice. We go at your own pace so no rush!
You’ll be guided in this 2-hour master class in the art of fluid art or most commonly known fluid pouring, creating beautiful works of art using specialist mediums that allow formations to occur in the paint, along with mastering your own colour blends with mica pigments and of course mixing it all with professional paints to create a one-of-a-kind art piece that will wow. You can also adorn your artwork with precious metals or bio-glitter if you wish also. You’ll walk away feeling empowered with science knowledge and a new skill as well as a beautiful fluid art masterpiece.
What’s included in the class?
Materials - We provide everything you need to have a relaxing and enjoyable class experience. We don’t expect you to bring anything but yourself and your time. Our materials are all high quality crafting supplies, machines, art tools and textiles. We take sustainability as a main focal point in our business and we try to minimize waste and single plastic use as much as possible. We included either a handout or a link to a PDF after the class for further learning in your own time.
Refreshments - Tea, coffee and water. We’re a full service kinda place and we truly stick by that, so this means we provide refreshments at no extra cost for you to enjoy if you wish whilst you relax and learn your new hobby. If you require a dietary requirement please note it to us when booking so we can ensure you’re catered for.
Tuition - Your professional friendly teacher, will guide you through the class and beyond to ensure you learn the most within the time frame you have. Don’t be afraid to ask questions if you're unsure too. They’re more than happy to help!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Unless otherwise noted, workshops are for those 12 years of age or over. Our classes are held in English however we do speak Danish also.
We're aligning with government state, and local kommune guidelines to mitigate as many risks as we can in creating a healthy and safe (and fun!) environment to work and make.
This includes updated cleaning protocols, new methods of providing technique demonstrations, and little to no shared supplies between students.
Please note:
Classes are filled to less than 50% capacity to allow for physical distancing between the seats at our main room large table and our lab room. Due to COVID-19 we only accept 5 people per booking and adhere to the local rules and regulations in regards to safety. We also have extra safety measures at the studio such as a HEPA air filter and sanitiser available at all times. Each guest gets their own tools and equipment which is cleaned after use ready for the next guest.
Seats are pre-assigned and people registered together will be seated together as a party. If you've signed up separately from a friend and want to sit together, please email to let us know!
